Dialog City Hybrid Festival in Graz

An event focusing on the topic of digital archiving

The second Hybrid Festival took place in Graz from June 6 to 8. After last year’s Hybrid Festival in Mondovì, it was the second festival in our Dialog City project.

DIALOG CITY ART FOR PUBLIC RESIDENCY PROGRAMME invites professional artists to develop ideas for urban interventions dealing with local or global topics that are of great significance for the respective urban society based on participatory approach. Participating European cities are Turin and Mondoví (IT) in 2023, Graz (AT) in 2024, Aschaffenburg (DE) and Montpellier (FR) in 2025.

Smart Country Convention 2023

Our "Dialog City" project was also there!

The Smart Country Convention (SCCON) in Berlin is Germany’s largest congress trade fair for the digitalization of the public sector. The focus is on the approach of not only realizing innovations as isolated solutions in a city, but also to realize them in a large scale.

First Game Jam in Aschaffenburg

The first Game Jam took place in Aschaffenburg from July 20th to 22nd, 2023. This event, carried out within the EU project “Dialog City”, ran parallel to the Game Jam and the first hybrid festival of the same project in Mondovi (Italy). During these three intensive days of play, there was at times a direct online connection between the participants in Aschaffenburg and Mondovi, which primarily served the purpose of exchanging new ideas and experiences and learning from one another.

Imagine our Common Future

How do we imagine a future worth living in? How can our common history help us in this? How can we shape our current actions accordingly?
From July 20-22, 2023, a parallel Game Jam will take place in Aschaffenburg (Germany) and Mondoví (Italy) as part of the first hybrid festival of the European cultural project DIALOG CITY.

The first DIALOG CITY Hybrid Festival of Mondovì was organized by the Cirko Vertigo Foundation and almost 500 people were actively involved in the event that literally invaded the streets of Mondovì for three days from 20 to 22 July.

The project partners informed about the goals and contents of "Dialog City"

For three days (5-7 June 2023), 25,000 visitors had the opportunity to get to know many new and innovative projects at the festival for the digital society re:publica, which took place in the Arena Berlin. At such an event, the EU project “Dialog City” could not be missing.

Art for Public Residency

First DIALOG CITY Residency in Mondovì

The artist duo, Anne Fehres and Luke Conroy, was selected for the DIALOG CITY RESIDENCY in Mondovì 2023. The residency started June 20 and the final artwork was installed during the HYBRID FESTIVAL MONDOVÌ – July 20-22, 2023.

Re:publica 2023

"Dialog City" and other digital projects

The re:publica – #rp23 – will take place from 5. – 7. June 2023 in the Arena Berlin. The three-day program includes inspiring lectures, discussions, workshops, performances and much more on topics related to the web.
